CSX Trenton Line Olney Station Philadelphia PA February 22 2005

A late running CSX K651 led by SD70AC 4704 approaches Olney Station

CSX Q417 with CSX 8716 on the point actually was ahead of K651 at Trent, but was passed at CP Berry. FURX 3037 and CSX 8128 complete the power consist.

Q417 leans into the curve heading for Newtown Junction and the Low Grade.

Next was a northbound light move, X091, with CSX 683 and 87.

You can really see the superelevation in this shot of CSX 87 on X091.

SEPTA R8 Fox Chase local 834 stops at Olney on Track 2. After CSX finishes the addition of passing sidings on Track 1, Track 2 will be freight only between CP Newtown Jct and CP Cheltenham, ending SEPTA dispatching of this portion of the Trenton Line.

Following 834 was Q300 with UP 9722.
