Railfan Pictures of the Day - 11/10/2005

SEPTA West Trenton Line Langhorne PA October 26 and November 2 2005

SEPTA has leased West Chester Railroad's RS18 1803 again for use on the wire train while most of the other SEPTA diesels are on slippery rail prevention duty.
The paint scheme has changed since its 2003 stint.
It's good to see an Alco any day of the week.
Unfortunately a problem developed with the cab signals between 1803 and the camp car 601, the former NJT Arrow, and, while that is being corrected and the engine turned, SEPTA SW1200 52 is currently handling the assignment.
While 52 is on wire train duty, its midday run with the scrubber up the Chestnut Hill East Branch has been put on hold.
