| Hyundai-Rotem Philadelphia Plant Philadelphia PA October 1 2009 |
| With the arrival yesterday of the first production Silverliner V shells, the Hyundai-Rotem plant in South Philadelphia will finally have something to do. Earlier this month workers were still putting finishing touches to the exterior, while the electrified test track carved out of the CSX trackage between Oregon Avenue and Wolf Street is wired up and ready. After the renovations, the facility looks a lot better than it did in December of last year, the rest of the area not so much. |
