CSX Lansdale Yard Lansdale PA and New Hope & Ivyland Railroad Warminster PA

Recently retired Union Pacific C30-7 531, now newly acquired New Hope & Ivyland 531, arrived just in time for the Fourth of July 2002, here pictured on July 1 2002 in Lansdale PA waiting for CSX to move it the last mile (actually 15, but who's counting) to its new home ....
.... and the next time I saw it was just before sunset on Christmas Day 2004, parked north of SEPTA's Warminster Station, still waiting for its NHRR maroon paint.
As part of the renumbering of Union Pacific engines required as a result of the absorption of CNW and SP into UP in the late 90's, the C30-7's, built by GE between 1977 and 1980 and originally numbered in the 2400-2539 range, were renumbered into the 400-531 series. UP 531 aka UP 2538 was one of the last operating for UP and the next to last unit in the series (2539 was involved in a wreck in 1986 and scrapped in 1988).
