Railfan Pictures of the Week - 03/12/2006

CSX Trenton Line CP Nesh Bensalem PA March 10 2006

An interesting site on CSX Q410 as it was stopped at CP Nesh on the main waiting for K207.
Three former Amtrak Material Handling Cars (MHC) are heading for Canada.
All the cars sport new paint. Two of the cars, GCLX 1445 and 1455, have roll up doors.
The third, GCLX 1422, has the original door but post-Amtrak service additions of what appears to be a small rollup window on the side and two air vents on the roof.
The reporting marks are GCLX, which internet sources identify as either Gold Coast Limited or Rail Enterprises/Iron Ore Company of Canada. The cars presumably are wearing the same numbers that they had when they operated on Amtrak until they were retired a few years ago, but their current use is unknown.

More detail shots of GCLX 1422, 1445 and 1455 to come.
