SEPTA Doylestown Branch Chalfont PA August 28 and 30 2011
On Sunday August 28 2011 SEPTA C&S department cut in the new signals on the Doylestown Branch. The cab signalling runs from Land to here at School where a temporary wayside signal has been installed to denote the shift from the new to the old ....
which still are in use from School to Doylestown.
On Friday night, the track department removed the switch at the north end of Forest Siding ...
making Forest stub-ended for use by maintenance equipment.
The new siding at Link Belt is bounded by CP School to the north and CP County to the south and is used to hold the new Link Belt turn (the midday trains that formerly turned at Lansdale). Here a late running Train 550 passes Train 535 ...
before Silverliner III 221 leads 535 back into the city.
