SEPTA Norristown Line CP Kalb and Ford Street Norristown PA August 1 2012

After coming down the Harrisburg Line, NS geometry train 905 pulled down to CP Kalb to wait for clearance across SEPTAland to the Morrisville Line. And wait it did, but this time it wasn't SEPTA's fault. NS H4A was holding the connecting track at Conshohocken Rail while it worked the only customer on the line, so 905 sat.

Finally, after an hour and a half, H4A pulled onto the Earnest Running Track at CP King and 905 got the signal to head over and pick up the H4A crew so they could be taken back to Abrams and jitneyed down to the Falls to pick up another train.
Leading was NS GP38-2 5609 ...
second was track geometry car 34 (originally N&W SD35 1530 until it was wrecked in 1976, rebuilt as a road slug, N&W RP-E6 9921, renumbered to 9951 before retiring as NS 9951), ...
and on the hind end research car NS 33 (built by Pullman-Standard for Union Pacific as UP 5441, and later purchased by the Alaska Railroad and retired before NS got their hands on it).
