Railfan Pictures of the Week - 7/20/2014

SEPTA Norristown Line Conshohocken PA June 23 2014

SEPTA has collected a motley collection of work cars from different sources over the years, and their tie flats typical of the hodge-podge nature of paints and lettering.
SPAX 2102 comes in blue and features bold white lettering.
SPAX 2101 is light gray and has the fanciest font of all the cars.
SPAX 2103 is another light gray car but with stenciled lettering.
SPAX 210? is the rattiest of the cars, to the point where the reporting marks are non-existant.
While the lettering on SPAX 2104 is similar to 2103, 2103 is a welded GSC car and 2104 harkens back to earlier riveted cars.
SPAX 2115 is obviously a former Canadien National car, still wearing CN red paint.
