Fire Prevention Week Show

The second week of October was Fire Prevention week and Ferry Pass Volunteer Fire Department held an open house and cookout for the community.  Several area Fire Companies and EMS personnel were represented and PMRC was invited to set up our layout all day.  A special thanks to Ferry Pass Volunteer Fire Department for all their support!

We set up a 12'x24' configuration in the truck bay of the firehouse.

Here is what it is all about.   The fire departments put on a real good time for all the kids and we were happy to be a part of it.

We weren't sure what Glen was doing under there and frankly were afraid to ask! Here is a couple of closeups of the paper mill and Glen Hall's mega detailed module featuring Woods Furniture and Olie's Tavern. Here is a vintage Mack fire truck owned by the City of Pensacola.

Ferry Pass had their 100' aerial ladder truck on hand to give visitors a "high ride". Baptist Hospital's Life Flight and the Escambia County Sheriffs Department landed their helicopters and conducted tours.
