It's a snowy January
day in 1989 as SD-9 4368 - with full light package ablaze - makes its
way across Big Baldwin trestle with a Hillsboro-bound special consisting
of a flat car loaded with parts and private car Yerba Buena. The Yerba
Buena was refurbished in Tillamook by Steele/Raeder from ex-C&NW
business sleeper Imperial Drive and is still in charter service for
owner Rail Ventures of Sandpoint, ID. I don't know what the flat car
was about, but it appears to have one or two passenger car truck frames
on it, probably bound for Forest Grove. Photo by Neil Lang. January
