Ashford,
WA (Golden Age of Logging Museum's operation) |
Notes: Owned by Scott
Wickert and leased in excursion service on the POTB's coast lines. Not used
in freight service. Engine was rebuilt in 2001 by SW and the Mt. Rainier Scenic
Railroad shops after being rescued from the defunct Jack Rodgers' Golden Age
of Logging Museum in Ashford, WA. Prior to being acquired by Rodgers for his
little loop of track near Mt. Rainier, the two spot was sitting forgotten, overgrown
with weeds in Mill City, OR. A few years ago, the engine was brought to Mineral,
WA and restored by the shops of the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad. And she's a
beaut!
