IC&E Employee Appreciation Special
     On August 28, 2004, the IC&E ran two round trips with GP40-2 4204 and 3 borrowed DM&E passenger cars: "Silver Lake," "Plum Creek," "The Pioneer." The trips were open to employees and their families. Both trips were to run between Nahant Yard and Samoa, IA (near Savanna, IL). I was able to catch up with the northbound morning run and here are a couple shots of it:
