One of the crew gives a wave while the other rides the pilot. The 70-tonner, with a lone boxcar in tow, heads north towards Kenilworth and is about to cross Fairfield Avenue. 8/1977. Two tracks Dirt crossing Dirt road Vehicular - Light 2 P.U. signs (marked 2 tracks) The RV's Lehigh Valley Branch crossed Fairfield Avenue in Kenilworth at grade. Two tracks crossed the roadway: the main track of the branch, and a siding to an on-line customer. Wyer's 1944 report on the RV indicates that this crossing was little more than a dirt road.
