ex-NYO&W #116 poses at Kenilworth with two of the ex-NJT E-8's. #116 was owned by Walter Rich, head of Delaware Otsego, and travelled around the DO system. It operated on the Rahway Valley and Staten Island circa 1988. #116 is now on the Delaware & Ulster Railroad in Arkville, NY after it was bequeathed to them by Mr. Rich's estate.

One of the E-8's at Kenilworth. Kasten Rail Car leased space at Kenilworth from Delaware Otsego from March 30, 1988 to March 29, 1991 to repair four ex-New Jersey Transit E-8's. 1990. Photo taken by Peter Thornton, courtesy of Don Maxton.

This close up view of the bay doors of the engine shed show the many patches made to them. The Rahway Valley Railroad suffered years of vandalism, especially in later years. 1990. Photo taken by Peter Thornton, courtesy of Don Maxton.

The engine shed at Kenilworth looked worse for wear in this photo. Years of vandalism took their toll on the doors and windows. On of the bay doors was replaced entirely (far left), while the others were patched. 1990. Photo taken by Peter Thornton, courtesy of Don Maxton.
