RED SOLID

Illuminates when a door(s) open on coach / Cabcar.

FLASHING RED

Illuminates when the Priority Alarm or Smoke / Heat Sensor Alarm is activated.

As in image to the left only flashing NOTE: 4025 to 4054 have a new brake application sensor that illuminates a white light on each side of the coach when brakes are applied - to be added to ALL 4000s, 4500s, and CEM cabcars 300 to 366. Click:

SOLID YELLOW (AMBER)

Illuminates when the emergency brake valve is applied on any car.

Also illuminates on any car or cabcar that has a door key switch enabled to indicate which car has a door control and communication station enabled for use.

FLASHING YELLOW (AMBER)

Illuminates when the Biocide and Water Tank Level are filled up to 95 percent full.

As in image to left only flashing.
SOLID WHITE

Illuminates when the Service Brake is applied and a brake cylinder pressure of less than 25psi.

FLASHING WHITE

Illuminates when the Holding Brake (cabcar only) is activated or the Parking Brake on any car is activated.

Note: the Holding Brake is only used when a train is stopped and brake cylinder pressure is kept at a minimum of 40psi. Once the train begins moving the condition disappears.
