cr_e33 CONRAIL E-33 Conrail inherited 10 E-33s from PC which came from NH (301-310), nee VGN, ex N&W. Conrail implemented a rebuilding program in 1979 to connvert these recitifer engines to solid state. Their days were numbered however, as Conrail decided to retire its electric fleet only a few years later. These 10 engines were numbered 4601-4610.
