N&W - EMD GP's

N&W 526 is a high hood GP-30 on the ready line at the engine terminal at Hagerstown

In the early 80’s N&W had a controlling interest in the D&H railway.  N&W units were often loaned to the power short D&H.  Here GP-40 1333 leads a freight near Binghamton, NY 
NW 4107 was one of a handfull of units to sport a short lived paint scheme which was developed to make the N&W units look more like the Southern units after the merger with SOU.  Eventually a plain black scheme replaced both railroads paint schemes
