Western Maryland S-2s Class

Black & Gold Paint
Western Maryland purchased 8 S-2s between May 1943 and December 1946.
These engines were delivered in the steam era fireball scheme and eventualy
all were repainted in the black and gold paint scheme no units were ever
repainted to the red, white, and black scheme. Numbered 125 to 127
and 140 to 144 these engines never made it to the Chessie era. All were
retired by WM between 1967 and 1972
