Built at Swindon in 1933 as number 4819, one of the 70 locomotives in the 0-4-2T 4800 class. Became 1419 under the 1946 GWR renumbering scheme. Withdrawn in 1961.

One of the class (number 1401) reached stardom in the film "The Titfield Thunderbolt", made by Ealing Studios in 1952.
