These are some photos of my layout, called the Red Valley Express. It is a fictional railroad that interlines with the NIckel Plate Road. It is mid 1950's era located in the Ohio valley of the United States. My main towns are Fostoria, Conneaut, and Ashtabula Ohio and a couple of fictional town called Smallville and the Lost Valley. There are some other small townships called Colby, and Willoughby

overall view of my layout
This is the narrow gauge sawmill operation. Toothpick Timber harvests the trees and transport them to the sawmill by logging cars. The mill then will process and ship out to the Bittercreek Chair Co and also to the transfer connection of the standard gauge for transport to other towns. Most of this section is scratch built and a couple of kits for the sawmill itself and the water tank. They also transport wood chips as well.
Here are some views of the town. There is a grocery store, gasoline station, plumber wholesale warehouse, lumber yard. Bittercreek Chair company, car dealership and more.
