With the harbor in view, I scanned for the Glacier Discovery which was parked on the mainline track across from the cruise ship dock.  The Alaska Railroad Glacier Discovery train was waiting passengers from all of the cruise boats.  The Klondike Express had docked earlier than the Emerald Sea.  The train looked beautiful from my vantage point aboard the Emerald Sea.

As the Emerald Sea was eased into the harbor, Derek the cook appeared and helped guide Captain Crabough to dock the vessel.  Most passengers appeared to have had a relaxing time on this glacier cruise.

After a thank you to the crew, I walked across the street and found Alaska Railroad Conductor Mark Bear who had been busy during his run up to Grandview. Conductor Bear introduced me to Engineer Dennis Bouwens who posed for a photograph.
