At Hurricane, the railroad has a bus for moving workers to different locations.  Look carefully at the "O" in MOW.  It is the railroad logo.

Some people chose to relax on top of some K rail concrete barriers.  This was a mother and daughter team.

Finally, the southbound Denali Star train came into view and passed us.  The engineer  has a newspaper which he is about to throw towards the section house.

Lower left, the Royal Celebrity cars.  Lower right, the viewing platform on the Princess cars.

Above right, Engineer Godfrey and Conductor Gray going over the instructions for the return trip.  These two long time railroaders helped make the Hurricane Turn train ride a first class ride on the last full service railroad in the United States.

The return to Talkeetna featured an unexpected stop at a location they called "twin bridges" along the Indian River.  I heard the crew talking about some kind of stop to allow the southbound Denali Star train to get further ahead of us.
