Here we had one scheduled meet and one unscheduled meet.

   

   

There are move water impound structures along our route.

   

Below right, this massive rock was is impressive.

   

Below left, a large diameter pipe is visible and likely part of the water project.  Cresta Dam impounds water on the Feather River.

   

   

The river and canyon take a sharp turn about half way between Pulga and Storrie..

   

   



Bwlow, the WP, un, er, the UP and the Feather River Highway ( CA Highway 70) cross the river again, this time at Tobin.  Railfans were there too.
