Operation Lifesaver "Officer-on-a-train"

Below, the UP Costa Mesa Local is returning to home rails as seen from the Operation Lifesaver train which is crossing the Metrolink mainline tracks.

   

Below right, the view is looking east towards the State College grade crossing and the Honda Center which is blocked by the industrial units on the right.  The Rongling Bros, Barnum and Bailey Circus train elephant cars are run down this track where the animals are unloaded and paraded along Cerritos Avenue and Douglas Street to the venue.
