The Elyssium was now stationed outside the entrance to the Shoreline
Marina. Below shows the crowd on the mole at the marina
edge. The people shown could see both Queen Mary's.
Below left is a view of the southerly portion of Long Beach Harbor.
The Queen Mary 2 then put on a show doing two 360 degree turns using
her three bow and one stern thrusters.
Below left, crowds of people were on the stern of the original Queen
Mary.
Below, the Queen Mary 2 from inside the Shoreline Marina. The
Elyssium returned to her slip and most of the passengers stayed for a
while discussing the wonderful historical event which we had been part
of. Thank you to Alpha and Jamie for inviting us to participate
