The "Riverview Shay" engine CAD 12 step animation of the motion.
This is an indication of the componant based assembly design used in
the 3D CAD model, it can
be made to turn the crank by a rotation function and each part's motion
is defined in relation to the crank.
I can make it go forward or reverse by shifting the reversing gear
linkage at the far left of the above image.
Question: can you tell which way the loco would be moving?
