Join us monthly for updates, programs and visiting with your fellow members.  Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30, except during July and August during which there are NO meetings.  The first meeting after June will held on the first Tuesday of September, except when the first Tuesday  immediately follows the Labor Day Weekend, in which case the meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of September.  For the most up-to-date information on when our meetings will actually be held, please refer to our monthly newsletter, the Observation Platform (O.P.).  If you don't receive the O.P., write to Chairperson Loren Martens, at the address listed below.

We are currently meeting at a location near Huntington Drive and San Gabriel Boulevard in San Marino.     St. Edmund's Church (1175 San Gabriel Boulevard) is graciously allowing our use of the Cowan's Room for our meetings.
From Interstate 210:
  Take the San Gabriel Boulevard/Sierra Madre Boulevard exit.  Go south (away from the mountains).
  The church is just over a mile south of the freeway on the right-hand side, just before Huntington.
From Interstate 10:
  Take the San Gabriel Boulevard Exit.  Go north (towards the mountains).
  The church is 4 miles north of the freeway.  Cross Huntington Drive and turn left into the parking lots.

The Cowan's Room is in a smaller building behind the main church and chapel buildings.

Open House

Our Open House is held on the second full weekend of each month, from approximately 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., at our museum which is located on the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona.  Visitors are welcome to join us during our Open Houses.  Please note: when the second Sunday Open House day falls on a holiday (such as Mother's Day), the exhibit will be closed on that Sunday.  Check our website regularly for the most up to date schedule.

If you need to make arrangements to see the museum on a day when we are not normally open, or for filming information,  please write to Chairperson Loren Martens or leave a message at the museum Depot at 909-623-0190.

Los Angeles County Fair

The 2009 Fair is held for 23 days, starting Labor Day weekend; the first Saturday in September.  During the fair the exhibit is open every day of the fair, but entry requires purchasing admission to the Fair.  Check the Fair's website for complete information regarding dates and times.
