The Depot
Southern California Chapter
Railway and Locomotive Historical Society

Standing at the entrance to our exhibit is the former Santa
Fe station and freight house from Arcadia, California. Built in 1895,
for over 70 years it watched the daily passing of Santa Fe's finest trains
on the Pasadena Subdivision from its location near First Avenue.
It has appeared in scenes from numerous motion pictures and is a classic
example of the gingerbread styled architecture of the 1890's.
Inside you will find display cases loaded with railroad artifacts,
and our gift shop which has items for sale to satisfy most rail fans.
Here is the depot as it is today.
