RS&N Location

• General
  
  The Red Springs and Northern Railroad lies in southeastern North Carolina. The RS&N passes through four towns (from north to south):
  • Parkton
  • Lumber Bridge
  • Shannon
  • Red Springs
  These towns are located between Fayetteville and Lumberton, NC. The railroad roughly parallels highway NC 71 for a distance of 12.5 miles.

• Set-on
  We usually set onto the track in a large field in the town of Red Springs. A long spur with the railhead at ground level provides a very convenient location to load and unload. From there we ride northward to Parkton and back.
