Parkton			At its north terminus, the RS&N railroad curves into the town of Parkton and meets with the CSX mainline. There was a wye here years ago. If you look closely at the satellite photo, you can see its former location.
Lumber Bridge			A short siding still exists in the town of Lumber Bridge.
Croft Aluminum Plant			A siding leads into the plant.
Mountaire Chicken Plant			The plant has grown since this 1993 photo was taken. The grade crossing has been moved northeastward since this photo was taken.
Residential neighborhood	.		A small residential neighborhood northeast of Shannon. A turnout and very short track remain from a former siding.
Shannon			The small residential community of Shannon.
Flora MacDonald Academy			This historic academy is in the northeast part of Red Springs. It is visible in the bottom of the photo. Its gardens are adjacent to the railroad.
Red Springs			Two long sidings remain in the town of Red Springs. Freight cars are visible on the sidings in this 1993 photo. The owner of the property under the sidings (a former lumber yard) generously allows us to set-on here.
