History:
Line built in 1938 by Gilchrist Timber Company.
KNOR incorporated on July 2, 1940 to take over the line.
Service ended on Sept 10, 1991.
Gilchrist Timber Co. acquired by Crown Pacific on October 1, 1991.
Service on former KNOR line resumed c.1993, but as a private (non-common carrier) operation.
Crown Pacific acquired by International Forest Products (Interfor) in 2004.
Last run on line was 6/2019
Purchased by Nieman Enterprise in 2020. Railroad operations resumed 2021.
