Welcome to the virtual tour through the Hagerstown Roundhouse complex. You will be able to see the status of the site, and walk through a few buildings.
Our goal is to make this the finest working transportation museum in the country. You can read our Mission plans toward this goal, if you are interested.
Jan. 12, 1998: portions of the warehouse
have been demolished, as well as the whole south erecting shop.
Please read
this update.

This view shows the 115-foot (35 m) turntable and the 25-stall roundhouse that was the core of the Western Maryland Railway shops complex in Hagerstown, Maryland. This structure was built in 1910, and has seen several additions and expansions as the demand for service increased.
In the right side of the photo you may notice a white pickup truck; this gives some scale to the size of the building.
Now, let's take a walk on the turntable.
