It will come as no surprise for anyone familiar with the area that the Hulmeville Road bridge just west of Langhorne Station has deteriorated to the point where PENNDOT closed it to vehicular traffic in late May 2019. While the view is not spectacular, it is one of the only relatively safe places to get an overhead view of SEPTA and CSX traffic on the line. As bids for the work will only be going out in August, expect completion sometime next year. SEPTA Train 319 departing Langhorne Station. |
