| The weekend of August 27 and 28 2022 saw Lansdale Borough celebrate its 150th anniversary and the railroad featured prominently during the event. SEPTA got the station spot for their tent at Lansdale's Founders Day event and gave tours of the equipment. |

| Steam also showed up, well, steam-ish, in the form of the Reading Company Technical and Historical Society's RDG 1176. |

| On the afternoon of August 28, a number of people gathered for a ceremony acknowledging the inclusion of the former Philadelphia and Reading Railroad (and now SEPTA) passenger station in Lansdale Pennsylvania on the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places. |
