| Memorial Day 2023 was a bittersweet day in Strasburg PA as the Strasburg Railroad hosted the final runs on its rails of a very special guest. |
| It is just after 10:00 in the morning and who could be behind that cloud of steam? |

| Oh, it's just Norfolk and Western 475 getting ready for its usual work day of shuttling coaches between the station and Leaman Place. |

| Along side 475 was SW8 SRC 8618 wearing an NYC inspired paint scheme. |
 |
| Also in the yard was SSB1200 SRC 1235 currently wearing the famously uninspired "undecorated" scheme. |
 |
| Lancaster, Oxford and Southern # 10 could be seen basking in the sun as well. |

| Ah, but next to those two was the apple of everyone's eye ... to be continued ... |
