Railfan Pictures of the Week - 8/17/2025

While shooting the east end and the west end of Route 15 went off with hardly a hitch, a late afternoon return to the east end found a problem. Of all the places to run out of gas, this Buick decided the trolley lane was the best.

Then, after adding some gas, it won't start so up pops the hood.

After a few minutes, the car finally starts and continues on. Of course a bus would have just gone around.

After a 15 minute delay, PCC III 2324 finally heads west as the shadows creep.

One good thing about shooting at 11th Street is that in between trolleys, you have the SEPTA main with its constant parade of MU's like Silverliner IV SPAX 293 in its Reading heritage scheme and the push pulls with ACS-64 motors like SPAX 911.
