| May 16 2025 Fridays are usually busy days in Lansdale with the arrival of new cars on CSX L042, but L042 ran yesterday so this Friday became maintenance day, starting with adding sand to GP39-2 NHRR 901. |

| Since the filler for the sander is on the rear of the engine, a bag lifted by a hoist on a truck is used. |

| For those unfamiliar, the sand is used to increase traction at the wheels, and some of the best sand for the purpose comes from South Jersey in the Millville/Vineland area. |
