The RSHS Depot email list provides a forum for subscribers for the exchange of information related to railroad depots, stations, and other railroad structures.

The list will also disseminate information regarding the Railroad Station Historical Society.

Anyone may join the RSHS Depot mail list. Information on joining the list is here.  You can also view the list archives here.  The Photo Archive, including the new series "Great Railroad Stations,"  is located here.

The list was started in June 1998 as an adjunct to the official website for the Railroad Station Historical Society. The website is at http://www.rrshs.org.

The Railroad Station Historical Society, Inc., founded in 1968, is a non-profit corporation devoted to the study of railroad depots, towers, roundhouses, bridges, and other railroad structures. The Society is an educational and research organization collecting data and preserving it for the future.

The Society has the following projects:

    1. Publishes The Bulletin, six issues per year, approximately 96 pages per year.
    2. Maintains an archive located at the Smithsonian Institute.
    3. Maintains a slide and postcard collection with copying privileges extended to members.
    4. Maintain a website as a station research resource.

Membership is open to anyone interested on stations, depots and other railroad structures. Members receive six issues of The Bulletin. Members may publish in The Bulletin. In addition you will have an opportunity to meet and make contact with other students of railroad history.

If you are interested in the history of railroads and the structures they built as well as the current disposition of those structures please consider joining the Railroad Station Historical Society.
