PHM Trainmaster PHM Trainmaster by Jerry Poniatowski

Tom Doherty did a fine job of bringing the Trainmaster to S scale.  Since I got one of the early shells, I
decorated it myself.  I removed a few louvers to make it more closely resemble the Pennsy prototype.
To give it a more scale appearance, I made the rails out of brass wire, although PHM has a very nice
set for hi railers.  Bill's Trains Shop was my source for the horns, Trainphone antenna and bell.

Floquil's Brunswick Green finished it off with Microscale's S scale decals for Pennsy diesels.  PHM
also has a lighting kit, but again, since mine was a very early run, the lighting wasn't available.  I have
four marker lights and four number boards with constant voltage illumination, and white LED's for the
headlights.  The PHM chassis is set up for hi rail AC operation, but since I also plan on running the unit
on my club's scale DC layout, I have switches to bypass the Dallee reversing unit.
