| The San Diego Electric Railway Association is a non-profit educationaland historical organization. Our goals include 1) the restoration of equipment,primarily from the San Diego Electric Railway; 2) the providing of educationon the history of the San Diego Electric Railway and its effect on thegrowth and development of San Diego, by providing early means of transportationand the corridors and neighborhoods which resulted and still exist today. We also publish a newsletter: San Diego Electric Railway News: TROLLEYSPARKS. Equipment owned: SDERy Line Truck (1923 White), 2 rail section-cars(speeders), a mobile display/vending "Toonerville" Trolley, and artifacts,pictures and memoribilia of the San Diego Electric Railway. Several members also own equipment including 3 SDERy Class I streetcars,#126, #128 and #138, built in 1911, and numerous other artifacts and photographs.
