For users of Windows 98 (all versions)

There is a Windows 98 update that causes image-display problems with AOLPress!!!

Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (KB918439)
(This update may not be the only cause of this problem, but it is the update that started my troubles)

This problem does not prevent the software from working, but makes it difficult to know
what the graphics on your page will look like before you upload it to the web.

To the best of my knowledge, there is NO FIX for this problem except to not install this update!

     Every page on my web sites were created using AOLPress software... a program that is unfortunately no longer supported by or available from AOL.  I was lucky enough, however, to have gotten a copy of it prior to AOL's decision to no longer support it.

     Regardless of its age, AOLPress is by far one of the easiest programs for creating web pages that I have ever seen.  It took me no time to figure out how to use the software without even using the HELP feature.  However, AOLPress come withs its own Tutorial program that is probably as good as any, so this should be of some help.
