Module Construction and Train Running Sessions
The club rents two rooms on the second floor of Squires Memorial Presbyterian Church, 770 Ingleside Road, Norfolk, VA. Members meet there to construct modules, refurbish modules, and run model trains at 7:00 PM on the second and subsequent Tuesdays of each month. These sessions usually last 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Parking is located behind the church and is accessible from Riverside Dr. Since the club's rooms are located on the second floor, we must keep the building's exterior doors locked during the sessions. Members hang an illuminated doorbell button from a window overlooking the parking lot for the convenience of visitors wishing to attend. After ringing the doorbell expect a club member to meet you at the door at the end of the building towards Riverside Drive. Please check this site if an operating session would occur on a holiday or the eve of a holiday.
Additional train running and module maintenance sessions are now scheduled for 10:00 AM through 2:00PM on the first Saturday of the month.
