Tom MacDonald (right), Hank Worrell (center), and Joe Balcer (left) admire the newly built 3' x 4' section frame for our new layout. The module is built out of furniture grade plywood (13 ply birch) and the center cross supports have a flat aluminum brace bolted to them for exceptional strength. The plywood center keeps the section from racking out of square. The section can easily support a person without sagging. The next step is the building of the legs - two per section.
