At the city end of the layout, the two loops and the point-to-point track all come together. The SW-9 on the point-to-point runs unattended and usually drags a boxcar from one freight station to the other. The outer loop usually pulls a passenger consist which gives us a reason to run the action mail-car to entertain the kids.
