Welcome to the St. Joe Valley Model Railroad Club!

The St. Joe Valley Model Railroad Club (or SJV for short) is a group of about 25 model railroaders of all skill levels. We meet twice a week on Wednesday and Friday nights to build and operate a HO scale model railroad.

We meet in the historic NYC freight house in downtown Mishawaka, Indiana. Our current layout is a fictitious North-South Appalachian coal hauling bridge railroad, spanning from Lake Erie near Erie Pennsylvania in the north to Chattanooga Tennessee in the south. We model from just south of Pittsburgh to just north of Charleston West Virginia.

Anyone who is interested in Model railroading particularly the mid 1950's is welcome to come down to the club during regular club nights and tour the layout. We meet from 7:00pm to 10:00pm Indiana Standard Time. Other times are available only by appointment. Please email us below to set up an appointment.

The SJV is located at 410 Spring Street In Mishawaka, Indiana. Please click on the directions icon for directions and a map to our club location and to our semi-annual swap meet!
