I arrived at a crossing west of Snowflake early on the morning of October 5, 2004.
The train to Holbrook normally doesn't depart until the late morning to early
afternoon, but I didn't want to risk missing them in case they left early.
After waiting for three hours for something to happen, the tie gang headed for
the clear around noon. Now the train would finally be able to leave.
