|   foamer = | derogatory name for an overzealous railfan; one who "foams at the mouth" at the sight of a train |
|   the Choctaw = | Union Pacific's Choctaw Subdivision, the closest rail line to my house |
|   Railspot = | Yahoo Groups e-mail list, dedicated to railroad sightings and news from the states of TX / OK / AR / LA / NM. |
|   ObsCar = | Yahoo Groups e-mail list, dedicated to discussions of railroad art, photography, and literature. |
|   KHYI > = | Plano, TX-based country/Americana radio station |
|   KNON > = | Dallas-based non-commercial "community" radio station |
|   NP = | Inspired by a tradition on the ObsCar list, signing an entry with "NP" indicates "Now Playing:", i.e., the music I'm currently listening to, tv show playing in the background, etc. as I post my entry. |
