In much of Texas, the reward for a moist winter and rainy early spring are colorful crops of wildflowers along the shoulders of our highways. Here, South Orient 105 leads an eastbound train past a field of wildflowers along U.S. Highway 67, between Miles and Rowena on April 20, 1995.
