 One of the tracks through Sloan Yard. If you look carefully at the end of the rails you can see where the rails curve to the right towards the Katy Depot. Operations were probably set up so that the mainline locomotives were cut off here at Sloan for servicing, and a switcher would push the train back into the depot. Then the mainline engines would back into their trains at the depot. |
