SUSSEX COUNTY RAILROAD CLUB MINUTES, AUGUST 2008

 

Meeting was opened at 8:10 P.M. by president John.

 

John spoke of the railfan weekend being September 27 and 28^th at the New Hope and Ivy Railroad and suggested that he check in on the possibility of doing the club trip there.  He will check and get back to members to see if it could be arranged.

 

John spoke of starting to distribute fliers at train shows for our next trains show.  He would be having copies of fliers available for anyone going to a train show.

 

Noel suggested to give an additional donation to Prince of Peace Lutheran church as they are having financial difficulties.  Motion made by Noel and seconded by Jeff for a special $200.00 donation.

 

John spoke of dues being due several members paid at this time.

 

No other business was discussed and the meeting ended at 8:25 P.M. to break for refreshments.
